BSNL DataOne Torrent Download Problem.

I have a BSNL DataOne Plan ( 750 P.M.) which i use heavily for FTP downloads.
But the main problem is- when i try to download anything via Torrents, i get extremely slow downloading speed. Even a 4 MB file takes Half An Hour to download. Is my ISP blocking the torrent ports? If so, is there any way to solve this problem?

Try This and see if there is any change. Also try port forwarding from *www.portforward.com/ check your router's port forwarding page.

Also , Speed decreases if there are less no. of seeder and peers for a particular torrent. I usually get around 150 KBytes/sec to 200 KBytes/sec.

check with torrents having higher no of seeds n peers......also check if the port is forwarded properly or not

which torrent client u use..?? Whats ur d/l n u/l speed acc to ur plan........??
