I have a BSNL DataOne Plan ( 750 P.M.) which i use heavily for FTP downloads.
But the main problem is- when i try to download anything via Torrents, i get extremely slow downloading speed. Even a 4 MB file takes Half An Hour to download. Is my ISP blocking the torrent ports? If so, is there any way to solve this problem?
    Please tell me.

Try This and see if there is any change. Also try port forwarding from http://www.portforward.com/ check your router's port forwarding page.

Also , Speed decreases if there are less no. of seeder and peers for a particular torrent. I usually get around 150 KBytes/sec to 200 KBytes/sec.
