Haven't tried G+ and Quadrant but absolutely no issues with Dialer or Whatsapp. Do try the update or factory reset to see if it helps solve the issues.
I honestly dont think there is any reason you should return the Moto G. It is an excellent phone at the price and delivers excellent.
It has a better optimised UI than any other phone out there (except Windows and iOS) and u will be the first to receive updates to Lollipop when it comes out. and guess what ..u are almost immune from all bloatwares that usually come with other phones like Samsung LG karbonn,
The Vanilla Android experience is fantastic as ever. Dont be disappointed, you have got a very good phone. Rest assured about that
Moto G is an excellent phone. It is in no way inferior to Zenphone 5 or Mi3. On paper, those phones have better hardware, but Moto G is very powerful. It has an additional advantage in that it is awesomely water proof.
The only real way Mi3 is superior to Moto G is in the camera department. But if you prefer is compact phone, Moto G is the best option...
i dont buy this whatever gimmick they say......please read the details carefully.......its got a nano film coating that repels water...but its not water proof........u may at the best be able to use the phone even in rains or while u take a shower.....
If OP requirement is enough with Moto G, I recommend sticking to Moto G. Taking backup in week or two and factory reset after OTA update is a PITA with Mi3

Thanks for consolation .
Yes it will get updates faster. Yes its just stock android , no bloat ware ,
BUT - It has connection dropping problems . i have experienced those . Wifi , cellular , bluetooth all wireless connections unexpectedly drop at irregular intervals .
Q. Why am i immune to bloat wares ?
Q.Does Mi 3 has a Nano film coating ? Can you please explain this wrt Moto G ..

No cause that rolled out today. Will see whats fixed and whats not.
G+, Quadrant, whatsapp and Dialer.
No, I didn't purchased but my friend did. Camera was his primary requirement and he is extremely happy with it
Zenfone series has one common problem: battery life. apps compatibility problem is there but it is something that will improve with time, battery life won't. Mi3 can't be compared to any phone right now. its a league of its own but the phone is a bit too big (aka phablet). sure, Motorola wasted a huge amount of space in G for nothing at the top and more at the bottom but one can use the phone with a single hand.
OnePlusOne may be here but will they land in peoples hand as fast as Xiaomi, no. Don't even think about OnePlusOne for now.
but looking at Moto G, its still one the best compact phone:
stock & optimized android 4.4
excellent battery backup
custom roms (for now dual sim is lagging behind, should improve)
guaranteed android L update
if you like MIUI, then yes Moto G is a bad choice and not VFM at all as Redmi 1S offers same spec at half the price. but if you are looking for a tried and tested phone, Moto G it is.
Flipkart won't give refund for such lame reason.
f#ck the specs and benches. Apart from camera nothing is so cool in Xiaomi Mi3. Stick to Moto G. Much Much stable OS then MIUI. (Saying this after using Mi3 for more than 6 hours, 8 App crashes(FC) on brand new phone )
^^it depends on you .. moto g is a solid phone and nice by every standard but surely not in the league of mi3 . they belong to different class entirely.
and if you do return it then try to wait for oneplus one ... coz oneplus one is a lot better than mi3 .

Well get Mi3 instead of Zenfone 5 if possible. Ask flipkart for a refund stating multiple problems you're finding with the device. They probably will refund the money to your flipkart wallet.
Anyways I did buy it on 21st July with priority access from flipkart first subscription. It is an amazing phone. I even bought the Moto G for a friend on launch day but this was even more special.
Flipkart will change or refund the product within 30 days no questions asked. I have done so personally, although it was simply because of defective product and not change of mind.
The best part about bloatware on the Mi3 is that if you don't like it then simply delete it. No hassles whatsoever. It is a highly customizable OS. You can change almost each and every UI element individually. Plus it's still android so if you don't like the MIUI launcher which is very much iOS-esque simply use Nova launcher or something of that sort.
It does not have a nano-coating so it won't be water-resistant though.
No one knows when OnePlus One will arrive in India. Even if it's available to ship here, it's pretty hard to get because of the invite system.
I'm using the fone and have mostly used flagships and have used vfm and entry levels too, so from that experience this Mi3 that I own now is unbelievably good. I was skeptical too in the beginning and was going for a M8 or Z2 or T3 or HTC816,but now thank god I bought it,thank god the money is saved!
and bad build, reception issues, massive overhype, lack of ASS,chinese tag, lack of regular updates(xiaomi is slow in updates) and software troubles
rather get a reputed brand within the 15k bracket any day over chinese phones
im sure you have an amazing life, visit service centres all day, come here and promote lame brands and phones
exaggerate about things you havent even touched
MIUI updates are buggy and slow
even one plus one, oppo are better than xiaomi in terms of build and updates
you are the one trolling and stereo typing
you compared nexus 5 and other expensive devices to the xiaomi as if buyers of the more expensive phones are fools, when you buy a nexus or higher price range device you pay for quality as well just fyi
