i have done a lot of rch and found this to be very very good. it beatll it's competitors right now yes evthat dell xps 1530

the one that comes right behind it is a sony vaio dont remember its model no. the vaio has t8100 procc 128mb ati card best it is vaio.

4GB dual channel mem
250GB HDD
DVDRW
15.4" 1440*900
8600M GT 256 GDDR3
6 cell battery
wireless N, stereo bluetooth headset, 2*creative EP 630, vista Home premium, creative audigy sound, 2.65 Kg weight and 1yr XPS care.
and es it was on EPP.

u got that at a discounted price as part of dell employee progg if i remember correctly? rite

not all can get that benefit and there might be a HP employee program.

also cleary XPS 1530 is costlier than this Hp one. try configuring urself.

it's nothing compared to xps 1530
specs are ok,but not great like you tell.
and the
cons:
price is 55,000inr.<<dell 53000 (recent one)
proccy t5550 <<dell t5750 (you can upgrade to 8100 for 2000-2500rs)
ugly old fashioned hinges
weight

and you can still bargain with dell to cut down the cost.

I always prefer dell and acer over HP. HP lappys have bad builds, bad support infra an higher costs. Moreover, they do not have the customizing option that dell has.

I agree with the guys above. XPS m1530 is anyday a better buy than the HP laptop quoted above.
