Best DVD Writer ?

BENQ 1650 is also a good choice...been using it as an external writer for the last 2 months, used it as internal writer for almost a year before that.

but my experiance this time is GOOD.I used to have cdrom drives from samsung which got tray problem etc.
but now with a toshiba-samsung-SH-S182F DVD writer it Rocks!

I just noticed that you said Liteon hasn't any service centres. Not good for office use then?

ide getting obsolete sata may be the format de facto.sata writers/roms may be future proof
