Guys what about sony ericsson W8? Is it worth a look?

Optimus one isn't available but my dealer had said he can arrange one. But what about w8?

W8 = rebranded X8 = Android 2.1, 3" display, 256Mb ram, extremely bad battery life (Optimus One with Android 2.2 gives 4X better battery ), nothing related to music is there.

Last thing buddy. How about spending a bit more for htc explorer? It sports a 600mhz qualcomm scorpion cpu and adreno 200 with 512mb ram. So is it worth spending a bit more?

It also has a 3.2inch screen with resolution similar to p500 i.e 320x480 but has a 16m colour display. So is it a good buy mate?

definitely. if you can find it for 10-10.5k, don't miss the chance.

actually its selling point is its powerful processor. though there is no DEV support for now, but it should get support pretty soon from XDA or other forums.

^^ Okay Sam i guess i'll have to increase my budget for this. In love with this phone already and it seems to suffice my requirements.

Will let you know once i get my hands on this baby. Then you teach me all the modding stuff cause you seem to be an expert in these. Hoping to learn from you a lot if you're willing to teach.
