Never tried Mac, they claim to be more innovative with their products.

True. Mac brings in a lot of new technologies, especially when it comes to hardware.

They have invented good eye candy.

Have they? Yes, they have the best UI, hardly any debate there. But most of their products are derived from others, not their own but they are great at packaging and marketing it. And MS is good at putting in their money to push it through to everyone.
