Let's keep the budget at Rs. 22,000.
Components - CPU, Motherboard, Graphics Card, Cabinet, PSU

Suggestion:-
Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 2.8GHz @ 5.8k
Gigabyte G31 Motherboard @ 2.5k
Kingston 2*2=4GB DDR2 800MHz RAM @ 1.9k
Cooler Master 334 Elite @ 1.8k
Cooler Master Extreme Power 500W @ 2.8k
Sapphire/Palit HD4830 512MB GDDR3 @ 7.6k

Tada!!!

oh wow...Xenforo!!!
Cooler Master Extreme Power 500W @ 2.8k
For the BILLIONTH time, extreme series are OUTDATED! Even an extreme plus 460w is a better choice. But they are both with passive pfc so it is better if you buy something like antec earthwatts 430w or corsair cx400 for 3.5k

^^^That's okay, as long as it runs properly, and it ain't gonna fry the PC too, cuz the GTS 250 itself runs on the CM 500W, even after OC.

I think this was CHIP's recommendation in mid-range gaming in their mag.

^^hey hey, don't call the E5200 a 90-year old grandmother. u must tell its a 5year old kid on a Ferrari :D

If I would had enuf money I would hav taken dat mobo with E5200; on it u can O.C. the E5200 like a h3ll :p

btw its a waste of money, E7200 and P5Q Pro will be a gud combo :)

Bond, Desi Bond!
yes. E5200 overclocks like hell. So does E7200. but a 5k mobo is more than enough for taht proccy.

E7200+MSI P45 Neo+aftermarket cooler would've been much better deal.

anyways......

Guys, Guys, we r just assuming he'll be doing OC, mostly normal users don't OC.

Go for Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 and G31 mobo would be fine for this proccy.

i once did a E8400(OC'ed to 3.4Ghz) + HD4850 on CM ExtremePower Plus 500w around six months ago and its still workin good as far as i got feed back from that friend of mine....

i think it could handle it....

The Sorcerer

oh wow...Xenforo!!!
^^ Well did you open the psu and check the capacitors? Also did you test the stability using orthos blend test as well? Did you check the +12v and +3.3v rail? No screenshots and photos to back it up, not many people would agree. Googling the forums tells too many stories.

Although yes both of them can but don't go for either of them as your better options are :-
Budget = Antec EA 430 @3.3K (yes it can well handle your upcoming rig)
Performance = Corsair VX450 @4k
VFM+future proof = Antec EA 650 @5K
