Well I would rather suggest you get better with HTML by playing for a few more days and then try out CSS, too.
BTW, I have never learnt CSS since I am too bad at web designing. My pages look very bad so i didn't go any further than HTML.

If you start with CSS, your pages will start looking better BTW, have a look at *www.csszengarden.com to understand the power of CSS. The underlying HTML remains the same. But changing the CSS file changes the looks completely!!
