70k Gaming PC biased towards GPU

tkin

Back to school!!
1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: Gaming, @ 1080P, all games.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: 70k(+5k max)

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: Not much, but need a custom cooler.

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Win 7 x64

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: 1TB is good.

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want.
Ans: Yes, min 22" and 1080P

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: Mouse, kb, speakers.

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: Within a month or so.

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: By me.

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Kolkata, local only.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: Must have an UPS, this PC is for gaming and gaming only, nothing else(maybe a bit programming, nothing a gaming PC shouldn't be able to handle). This is for a friend but I'll assemble it myself. Must contain a custom cooler.

Now about the thread title, this will be a gaming PC, so this needs a powerful GPU, the best this budget can afford, don't put emphasis on the processor or anything else. Also open towards AMD for both CPU and GPU.

Also this will be a blueprint for the PC I may purchase in may/june if I can't carry my rig abroad. But that's in future.

^^ Nice, but that Mobo has only one X16 PCIe slot, other one runs at X4, so basically kills any chance of dual GPU later.

Those rates are too goood to be true. Vedant is one damn good shop.....

BTW AOC (I-2251FWE) is also a very nice monitor with IPS panel so you may consider it...

Thanks for info on hard disk...

Tkin, are you getting a second system or for your friend?

BTW, the prices from Vedant are superb. in fact it is lesser than when I checked 1 months back. 7950 Vapor-X @ 20.2K + tax= 21.008K, cheapest
