Guys from now on both Xolo Q800 and Q700 will have the SAME chipset i.e MTK6589M.

Don't believe me?
Check the specs of both on Xolos site.

So if you are gonna buy a Q800 better check the box and make sure its the MTK6589 one not 6589M which can only record 720p and not 1080p.

what? halfway they changed specs? WTH !!! so the recent pricecut was actually because of the change in chipset.

Will they though? Saw that Q700 will have MTK6589W-M. Haven't got a clue about it though, Is it the same as MTK6589M? Or is the gpu even more underclocked?

Although I am completely unaware about chipsets, there is a difference of "MT" & "MTK", "W-M" & "M". Not sure if they are the same. Please oblige by clearing it. :)

6589M and 6589W-M are the sanme chipset :)

Know more about MT6589M, MT6589 and MT6589T chipsets

Does the new Xolo Q800 come with MTK6589W-M chipset?

best mobile phone with budget of rs 10k(i can extend it by 1-1.5 if quality is good)..i have underlined nokia lumia 520 ,,but no fm radio ,no flash and limited apps is holding me back :(,,

Then how it is best if it doesn't have fm radio, it does not have flash, it has limited apps ?
