agree they are rebranding chinese fones, but they are doing some more assembling in india and helping the economy by creating jobs.
i just prefer a ready to use fone, not as much tech savvy fone user to read guide to debloat or flas custom rom.

I'd say, even among tech enthusiasts, like me, rooting, etc is much less now. Banking apps is one reason, other is time, not everyone has time & I found custom ROMs a bit unstable compared to stock OS. Adding features used to be a main reason I was into custom ROMs, but Samsung's One UI has a lot of them. I'll go back into rooting only if I buy a Pixel phone (which I try to avoid) because stock OS is too barebones for me even now.

Don't forget that Samsung has shitty Exynos in some phones. IMO there are no Samsung phones worth the money over S20 FE 5G. Hopefully M52 5G gets down to 25k & A52S 5G to 30k.

All top flagship SoCs are rumoured to be hot this year. Was true last year with S888 as well. Dimensity 9000 is said to be the most efficient among them, let's see.

last month i got A52S 8GB model for 30.5 from offline shop. i would have got it for 30 if i would have paid in cash. it could have been below 30 if i would have got it from amazon or samsung online store.

I saw A52s 5G for 35k when I bought my S20 FE 5G for 34k. Samsung needs more price cut but 30k is ok-ish price for it, realistic for Samsung.

imho samsung is in a way justifying not doing that by marketing their longer software update feature. also S20 fe is slightly older than A52S plus it was stock clearance sort of thing so it was priced very low.

Hardware might be good but it is bloated with crap like ColorOS and lack of custom roms make it unworthy of that asking price.

Yes, A52s 5G gets 1 extra OS update, but else, S20 FE 5G is just better. I'll recommend it over S21 FE 5G as well unless the latter is like 5k extra. S888 being a hot CPU is kind of a con for gamers, in long-duration gaming performance of many phones fall to S865 level.
How about the overclockable snapdragon 888 on the rog phone 5 and its vapor chamber cooling?
