When i enable 5.1 channel mode in sound properties, the mic doesn't work. WHen i choose speaker configuration in sound properties ,the mic works. I have 2.1 channel speakers so kindly help me out.I want 5.1 setting in sound properties and my mic should work.

I have a P4 1.7 GHz processoar with 512 MB ram and an XFX GeForce FX5200 GPU. In system properties windows shows just 504MB of ram. Where did the 8mb go?

I have a p2 350 MHz processor and asus 440lx motherboard. I recently bought a riva tnt2 M64 which has 32mb of video ram. On startup it shows that it is a 32mb graphics card but my system properties shows only 16mb. I had installed latest 56.64 nVidia driver. Help required urgently!
