Hi there guys downloaded the iso from ubuntu but my writer is messed up (wasted 6 cd's trying writting the iso) is THERE ANY WAY OF INSTALLING THE UBUNTU FORM THE HDD dump like Windows if there is can u please help me

Whenever I insert a CD into my CDRW, the system hangs and I get the blue screen of death :( with the message: KERNEL_INPAGE_STACK_ERROR. Then the system does a dump of physical memory and reboots. Please help me find a solution to this problem.
