detecting

well i needed some data and my cd drive had gone out for some repairs. so i made an image of the cd and copied it to his flash pen drive of 1gb. now when i connect this to my computers usb my pc is not detecting it. dont know wat seems to be the problem i hve tired other usb ports no ones...

Can anyone suggest an antivirus thet does not make my PC slow but is better than NAV 2005(I use it NAV2k5 now) in detecting viruses. I searchedx the QnA forum for "antivirus" & "anti virus" but got only 8 irrelevent results.
