Hi, I was doing the Winrar benchmark test both in Windows XP x86 and Windows 7 x64, but the results came was awkward. It came much higher in XP x86, about 4100 while in Windows 7 x64 it's just 2900-3000. Now may I know what's causing this? I also ran a 3DMark Vantage benchmark suggested by S_V...
Long gone are the days when one used to be content by downloading 3-4 songs. Even generic users require bulk space for storing backups, music, videos, games/software- list goes on. Low cost, lots of storage space and reliability is the name of the game for secondary storage.

Yes folks. The benckmarking tool for PC is out now. It's a 396MB download. I'm downloading it right now, will report back with results. From what I gathered over the internet, it's extremely optimised (like there was any doubt). Now if we could only get an early demo. :smile:

NVIDIA has internally announced the GeForce 7800GS; a 16 pipe replacement for the GeForce 6800GT and 6800 Ultra. Anandtech recently got a chance to benchmark the card, and not surprisingly the performance is right between the GeForce 6800GS and GeForce 7800GT.
