Hi! My frnd and me are planning to play AOE 3 and some other games via LAN. He is having a laptop and me having a desktop. We are having a crossover cable. Both laptop and desktop are having Windows 7 ultimate. Can anyone please tell me step by step instruction to achieve so.

I have a following config : Celeron 1.7 256 MB DDR RAM. SiS 650 Onboard. Now i want the cheapest soln to upgrade my Computer so that i can play games like Quake III, NFS Most Wanted, AOE III, Ea Sports 2006 Series. The problem is that my mobo doesnt have an AGP Slot.

I got AOM day before, tried it. I didn't like the game very much. I think the AOE series is far better than the AOM ones..............what about u guys, which one did u like among them?
