Default folder icon

How do I change the default folder icon in windows? Everytime I try to change it using folder options,the default double-click action becomes find instead of open.

right click the folder whose icon you want to change-->>properties-->>customize-- >> change icon-->> select icon or browse for icon-->> Apply -->> OK

By "default folder icon",I mean changing the icon for folders all over ur system,the way u get when u apply any theme pack.

Use Tuneup Utilities, Icon Packager, Icon Tweaker or any other tweaking software and you'll be able to change most of Windows icons easily.

I want a way to do this without using any third-party stuff.Any help?
