LG G2 Or Nexus 5

Thanks for the detailed explanation. My problem is i can't change my operator currently.

I know G2 is old. But So is N5. Both are still in good demand online & off-line. Just want to select one of them and that i can use for another 2 or so years. I don't want the latest mobile. I want a tried & tested one which can last long.

Get G2... I will prefer it over N5 any day

You don't have to change right now... wait for full roll out & good plans to come...
And I think jio will be best for 4G service.. starting from June.. so you can buy now...
If you can wait then you will get enough idea about 4g & lots of new 4g enabled device to choose from...

ok. you dont want latest.. then you can consider nexus 4 also, android 5.1..
tried and tested?... all devices latest and old devices gone through various test and then it come to customers/users...
buying tried and tested device is bad idea.. because not every phone is 100% perfect.. there is something fault.. what if, if you buy lg g2 now and then found faulty?... something will happen you can't stop that..
another thing, you have to wait for 1-2 years and then you will use for another 1-2 yrs...then you may face problem for product's service..

if you want tried and tested, one plus one have many users, just check this product first... hardware and software wise one plus one is better than lg g2...
please rethink.. and one plus one is 1yr old now (launched april 2014).. oneplus two is also coming.. so why buy lg g2?? give some strong points..

For 25k budget I would still insist on checking out one plus one or desire 820.

+1...
same I think.. one plus one is better than lg g2 and it does support 4G..

I would have no problem in buying one plus one except for the size. 5.5 is way too big for my liking.

Get a one plus one size cutout and see what it looks like.

Never mind. Got it from web. See attached image from my current phone to G2 to One plus one. One plus one looks huge.

As I told you earlier same thing.. 0.5 inch is not a big difference.. just go out and check any 5.5 inch smartphone and compare it to lg g2.. some store gives demo also, try that and compare size...
vijay sales, mobile store in mumbai...
for kerala there may be something store for demos, try in malls they can give you demo..

Now this you have to decide.

Well, it is very big for me. I would like to go for something in 5 or max 5.2 like G2. I did a search on gsmarena and found M8 which seems to be a very good phone, but way out of my price range. Probably if i wait for another 6 months or so it my come down, but then i will again be buying a phone which is also a 2 yr old one ( this is what happened with G2. I was looking at it when it was around 35K). Realistically speaking what would be the problem if i buy a 2 year old phone like G2? It works for Apple ( i know it's not fair ) why not for other brand/

Google supports phones for only 18 months and those 18 months are over so basically you are buying a phone which has no certain future. Along that if you buy it you have to risk rooting it and voiding the warranty.

OK. so what is the best option on 25 K budget with size of <= 5.2 inch, that is not too old?

Get Digit ized
Buy s5 or z2 which are now easily available about 27k
No Samsung. Z2 is selling for around 30 K online. I guess it will be higher in local market. And what about the screen cracking issue on sony mobiles? heard a lot of people complaing about it. That is why i dropped out on Z1C.
