Upgrade to 19k and get LG Optimus L9, amazing phone, total VFM and most powerful under 20k.

Get the Optimus L9, it will run the games better than all the phones you've mentioned, and possibly better than all other phones in that price range, but in my personal opinion, you'd hardly like playing those games much after some time, the main thing is the phone UI never lags, browsing is as smooth as it gets, plays 1080p videos ( although DTS Codec is not supported ( on stock and MXplayer )due to copyright issues, i used VLC to play those video with DTS audio, it lagged )

buddy its ur hard earned money, dont waste it on garbage phone like S Duos, its total crap, hangs a lot, poor battery, single core processor. if u are short of extra 1-1.5k after 17k then i suggest you to wait till you could manage that xtra amount from your earnings/pocket money OR try getting this phone from grey market, you would get it there easily for 17k without bill or warranty, but dont waste your valuable amount on a phone like S Duos that you would regret after the purchase.

As you said you have added all your savings, so i think you would be using this new phone for quite a long time and would want it to be a good one, so dont compromise on the handset :)

I am with him, anything below L9 is a waste, if its absolutely impossible, wait and get a Lumia 620 like I am.

i just saw, on infibeam the price is 18,200/- so i think the grey market price would easily be 1000-1500 less from the market price. If he tries to get it without bill/warranty from there, he would easily get it for 17k.

Never suggest some one to go for grey market products esp. if the price is high and the money is hard earned, because if by chance anything happens tomorow, even LG won't help him without the original receipt and warranty card ( read Legal proofs )
So better get Samsung Galaxy Advance or wait for the price drop of LG L9 ( awesome phone considering the price tag ).

There's hardly any difference between 4.5" and 4.7", if you really want a smaller sized phone, 4" would be optimal for you.

The L9 is surprisingly light, trust me that would be your first reaction when you'll hold the phone, and it's somewhat possible to handle with one hand.

:+1:
@op.. if you are fine with 4.5" screen then how does a 0.2" more makes a big difference in handling? it not some 5.0+"
L9 is best below 20k overall coz of its nice 4.7" IPS display, looks and specs but lag behind in camera part.

Consider Samsung Galaxy S Advance.
would be a good option too as it covers up with great 5mp still shots but with an unimpressive build quality, ugly looks IMO and smaller 4.0" screen which you may prefer and it may get a JB update as well. but lately, heard some local shops saying its been discontinued coz of some hardware issues:unsure:

else wait for the prices to come down:rolleyes:

Have a look at Desire SV, I think it is the best option for you.
And buy from tradus, it will cost you around 17k
