1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: Looking to build a config for a school. The school is affiliated to ICSE board, so config that run basic applications like Turbo C++, BlueJ, JDK will be needed. The config must support other IDE's like Eclipse, Netbeans, Visual Studio if needed. Other than programming, the the config must support light browsing and general office/project work. It must support at least Office 2010 or LibreOffice and latest versions of Chrome or Firefox.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: Under 14K; I can extend my budget upto Rs. 1500.

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: No

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Most probably Windows 7 (Starter or Home Basic)

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: 80GB is enough, but I don't think it is easily available, so 250GB will do.

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: Yes, 19 inch minimum.

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: I wan't every component except the DVD/CD Drive and Speakers

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: ASAP

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: Yes

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Nainital, Uttarkhand. I will be buying the components both online and offline.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: I also want a UPS and a PCI Wireless card to be included in the complete configuration. Please try to mention a config with dual core processor

Is it possible to get a config under 15K with 17" monitor and a mini-ITX motherboard with processor built in ?

>I found only Gigabyte GA-D425TUD(Flipkart) for Rs. 3721 but only single core...
and these mini-itx and don't have performance up to the mark...
>do you need a PCI wifi card only or the usb one i said above is ok? if u don't get wifi signal, u can use extension cable to increase signal and its cheaper than pci card :)
>AMD Config is getting costlier than intel

Now A4-5300 offers almost same level of performance as the Intel Pentium G530 but offers far better Graphics performance than Intel, thanks to its HD 7480G integrated Graphics. This combination will allow you to have better multimedia experience.
