no it won't bottleneck anything as a fact the fx 6100 is a pretty amazing chip considering the price point(unless your friend does benchmarks he wont find any difference)....also your friend will be using the pc just for gaming and hence going with the 7950.......on the price perspective you can go for nxzt source elite...save 500 i guess

also you could go for the corsair cx600 3800 can save another 600 making the new total 40400

the gpu costs 21800 here in kol so you save another 200 so the new total is 40200.......after that bargain :twisted:

Buddy, gaming performance of FX-6100 is below Phenom II X4 955 and sometimes lower than Phenom II 840 (which is a higher speed Athlon II X4 without L3 cache). For gaming, opt for Core i5 3470.

500w can accommodate a non-k proc and an OCed 7870.

For motherboard can you tell if gigabyte GA H77M D3H is better or Msi H77M G43?
& for GPU Gtx 660 or HD 7870?
