Hello guys,

I bought an ASUS Radeon HD 7970 yesterday. Here are the unboxing pics:

Now for a better perspective regarding its size , I have also added a picture of 7970 side by side with my old Sapphire Radeon HD 4890.

Regarding the performance its performs almost the same as reviewed by the hardware sites: HARDOCP - Introduction - ASUS Radeon HD 7970 Video Card Review

So what do you guys think?

Thanks,
Sayantan

Congrats Man!!! Do post vantage score and heaven score...

For heavens please post the settings you want to see.
For vantage I get around 312xx for GPU score and P293xx as total score for stock GPU settings.
For OCed GPU I get around 341xx for GPU score and P301xx as total score. i.e for 1050Mhz core and 1500Mhz memory. I can push it even higher(max tested 1100 core and 1575 Memory) very easily but currently I'm satisfied with these settings.

nice bedsheet :D

Ha ha...my mother got it for me from big bazar(probably)...:-D

Gr8... from where did you buy Icy Vision ?

ebay (hong kong) using paypal.

Nice, BTW don't do much stressing on the card using Furmark It will burn your card not kid'in.One of our forum members 6850 got burned in the process.

Yes, running furmark for very long time could probably damage it but there are no better stressing utility to check the stability of your card. Also Heaven 2.1 doesn't really stress the card that much. In fact Crysis2 benchmark is more stressing than heaven 2.1.
