Sony Live with walkman has got a small screen and when I got my hands on it I was pretty amazed, it has got a very good build quality and it has also received the ICS update. And the phone looks really good, the UI is also fine, but I think one should buy a android phone with 3.7" or + screen.
If we talk aboute Xperia Pro then it is the only option we have in a slider querty + touchscreen phone.A great phone with good specs @ at a decent price(not very good). But one needs to be careful with the slider as some or the other problem comes after 1-1.5yrs down the line.
All I can say is choose wisely.

Where did you get that from? They're not releasing ICS for Live with Walkman till April/May. Source: [gsmarena.com].

@OP, what are your budget and requirements?

Well, to enjoy Android, you need a large screen (>3.7 inches). But some people find large screens difficult to work with. If you're that kind, then Live with Walkman is for you. All of Sony's 2011 Xperia phones (and Live with Walkman) will get ICS update. So no worries there.

Xperia Pro's QWERTY keypad is a plus, but do you need it? Do you type out long and frequent SMS/email/IM/whatever? Can't you type using the touchscreen? You need to think about that, then make up your mind.

If no keypad is ok, but you need a bigger screen than Live, get the Xperia Neo V.

Why aren't you considering other brands?

They all have the same chipset (Qualcomm 1GHz CPU with Adreno 205 GPU). So don't bother about performance differences.

Return on Investment? For a phone? What exactly do you mean? How long it'll last?
You do realize that any phone you buy will be obsolete within 2 years, tops.

Edit: You shouldn't have posted here. Buying advice section is [here]. Get a mod to move it.

When I got my hands on it @ a store in Jalandhar, there was a notification on it that the ICS update is available, update it now.

Mention your budget and requirements and I/we will suggest you accordingly.
Get Pro if you need that slider keyboard badly another don't.
And get Live with walkman only if you want a small handy phone with a budget of only 13-14k.
Apart from that you can have a look at Neo V which costs around 16-17k.
If you want more suggestions then please tell your budget

Active is a very rugged phone and is available for 17k.
And if you have a budget of 18k then the best options you have are:
Neo V
Active

I won't suggest Ray coz of its small size.

I said active because Anorion above suggested it and said it is better than other phones too.I don't know much about that phone and haven't got any chance to get hands on it.
But thanks for updating my knowledge.

@mailshobhon- So now I think its best if you buy Neo V

dont even consider anything apart from the Neo V, Active or Ray
if you like large screens then Ray is better than Neo V - maybe the Neo V has the bigger screen here again
check out the active tho, you might like it

^^^^
You said that if you want large screen then ray is better than neo v.But it should be opposite. As ray has a smaller screen.

^yeah a marginally smaller screen with a much better camera
fortunately the prices of the phones are somewhat indicative of how good they are
Ray > Neo V
