Recently shifted to the Xbox 360 wired controller. Works perfectly with 99% of the games & you don't even have to configure the settings manually. Get it from India. It's easily available for 1.6-1.8k depending on where you get it from.

+1 for the X360 controller. Works out-of-the-box for most games for Windows. *djforum.free.fr/smileysmileysmiley/v2/surprises/surprises.smileysmiley.com.54.gif

Er....I use a local controller bought from Richie street, Chennai for 300 bucks......works gr8 for me!!!
So did I. But those wear out pretty soon. They aren't anything like this controller. I had 2 controller prior to this & both died on me pretty early. So decided to stop spending on them & get a good quality one.

Yup, I also have a PS2 controller lookalike and 3 of its buttons have started giving me problems. They just get stuck and remain pressed. I'll be getting the old XBox controller or the X360 controller once I save up enough cash.

^Where do you get it for 1.3k? I just got it a month back for 1.6k. That's the lowest I was quoted so far.

I have to agree. The X360 controller is good and it's not very expensive either. It's sturdy and the loads of buttons can be easily customized using third party utilities.

dont buy this, you'll spend more time on configuring this & then trying to get force feedback.
xboz 360 controller works out of the box, then whats the problem.

i bought it thru e-bay

Can someone suggest...

i dropped the wireless idea as it consumes a lot of battery... or u think it is good to play with that...

secondly, i see the rumblepad it has got nice looks... vibration and 2 joysticks...

xbox360 ctrllr has best looks so far, ergonomics is unmatched. to top it all, if you wanna play multiplayer on your friend's xbox360 , take your ctrllr - just plug & play.
i'll tell you again, the game devs test their games on xbox ctrllr. 1st.
best example is gta4, when you plug in xbox ctrllr, it gets auto configed.

Get the wired one. It's much better with the plug & play USB support. If you're getting the Xbox 360 controller then all you need to do is download the driver from the MS website.
