[Complaint] Zotac RMA

Location: Kerala

Date of purchase: 23/04/2012

Description of problems faced and the incident:

Created RMA request on 08/06/2015. The card was faulty as PC was not booting when card was inserted.
Sent the card for RMA to Aditya Infotech Kochi.

After 2 months and a number of emails later they provided me with a card on 31/07/2015. It was also faulty. While trying to game PC shut down and wont boot when card is there. I checked it on another PC same result.

It looks like Zotac provided me with a faulty card to close my request. I had to email them a number of times to get them to give me a replacement. I have all the email copies. Sometimes they wont even reply for emails.

Sent an email siting this issue just now. Waiting for reply now.

Are you sure its not the PSU issue ? Similar thing happened with me , replacement card was giving same problem - no display , turn out it was the PSU fault .

Received a replacement again. This one works.

Still it was a tiring RMA. Bad standards. Took more than 2 months.

My first ever graphics card XFX 6600 Vanilla died due to bad earthing.
I got the card replaced in 1 week with a card that looked brand new but same model. Might be refurb
I sold that sh it along with my PC immediately :) to get new parts. CPU, RAM and MOBO
I am still using that same hardware to run win 7
Used XFX 9500GT from 2008 till now
Replaced with Zotac GT640
