Yet another Dataone issue!!??

hi guys,

i am on plan500

i hav been getting a constant download speed of 50kbps(and there abts)
for a single download

but when i do multiple downloads this bandwidth is not shared , but i get an additional 50 odd kbps and so on...

i knw practically it can go upto 2mbps , but i wondering why the entire bandwidth is not available for a single download???

i talkin abt downloads frm rapidshare etc
and i didnt restrict my download limit anyware!!

so any ideas???

The file you are trying to download from Rapidshare might have multiple downloaders

I think this might be the reason for optimum download speeds

it has happened with all files on all servers...its not a server side prob

can anything be done my system to improve Bandwidth availability for a single download?

wow...how do ya use DA's for rapidshare downloads man...i dont hav a premium a/c
so...

I get 40-50KBps when download from rapidshare as a free user and 220-260kBps when downloading as premium user, so using a DA will solve the problem.

try downloading with DA from other sites like download.com!

did it frm other servers...not happening....on parallel downloads i am gettin
50+60+40...kinda speeds!
