Yahoo! messenger 7 opens Yahoo! folder on clicking on a link

Guys!

I need ur help.
I hv Windows XP SP2 with all updates.
Problem is related to Yahoo! messanger with voice 7.

The problem is whenever i click on a link sent by my buddies in chat window, it opens the Yahoo! folder in program files.
I mean it doesnt open the link in browser window! in stead it opens the yahoo! folder each time.

Very strange and irritating also.

And it has happened many times, whenever i reinstall windows and install yahoo! for a few days everything works fine but then after some time same problem starts happening.

Is ne1 also facing the same problem?
Is there ne solution?

PS: I hv both IE and Firefox installed.

same problem here. i think the prob occurs wen we change the default browser from IE to anything else. But if i have firefox already opened, the linx work fine fine for me.

It means its a BUG in this new version!!!

There is also one more bug in this version:

We can't use <UP> key to recall typed messages, as we could do in previous versions.

I dont think its a bug, just a change of shortcut keys I guess.

Its now Alt+Shift+Up/Down

It Isn't as comfortable as the previous one.

Yahoo and browser conflict

I have the same problem. Some times when I make IE as the default browser, it works.
