Oh! & this isn't the final version. It's a preview build...so yeah, I can live with the slowness.

This version of yahoo is really eating lots of resources.

On compaq laptop with 1 GB ram...and Nvidia Geforce graphics card with total 281 MB memory.

Y! messenger for vista is eating :
120 MB -->> when open.
60 MB-->> when minimize
80 MB-->. when close to system tray.

Typing speed while chating is alright.

RAM usage is not a problem, with system with 1 GB RAM or even more we can very well spare 120 MB, CPU usage is a problem.

Still, 120MB of RAM is a lot of memory for a simple messenger. I hope they make it tighter with the final release. It's not like Yahoo is the only app you are going to run on a machine...

It's a preview release so expect changes. Hack even photoshare isn't there. Right now it is only a cool skin.
