Xp classic logon appears instead on welcome screen

In the zone
i ve enabled welcome screen instead of class login, but still the classic login appears ..
and iam not abel to delete another administrator account..or change administrator account to limited account which has been greyed out in the options..
please help me

well the problem is not with the hidden administrator , i ve explained those ...

i cant delete another accounts and cant get to see the welcome screen instead of the classic login

dude on these links there were some registry and group policy editor (gpedit.msc) settings. maybe u overlooked them. check in gpedit, i m sure u'll get a solution

yes this thing is very addictive. and dude never suppress ur desire to experiment, even with some starting hiccups, u'll enrich ur experience. that will benifit u.

Gagan ....it didnt work , the loging screen appeared for the first time i changed ,

i get to see the switch user but when i click , it pops out the clasic login there too,

now its beomce 50/fifty !

i tried every thing there but i am not able to delete another account with my administrator account

Try "Tweek Now Power Pack" or any oher such software, it will enable you select your logon user and logon automatically or it can even change the way you logon !!!

Ya formating is the best sol. but it takes a lot of time to setup a Media Center PC back to its previous state !!!

Think abt it before formating !!!

OH eureca so u r using the media center edition.....i presume that its similar to XP but i never tried it yet...can u put some light on it....i mean wat's new, wat's good/bad etc's

well there is one revert back option in the autopatcher given in the digit dvd every month

i dont exactly get the problem

but i think there can be more better options then formatting

try with the tweaking tools , u must be havin a lot of them !!!

@ gagan007 => nothing diff. but it just has an extra programe with which you can play, view, surf, etc. all with one software !!!

lol i posted one message 7 times in a row. actually at that time (around 11 am today) digit servers were facing some prob. so i was getting message "database not accessible") maybe same thing happened with vijay.

and rachit what is that extra programme???????

Its called media center, when you open it, you get an animated menu contaning all the things that you have costimized for your MC-PC, like movie player, TC viewer, DVD burner+player, etc.
