It is the Vista RC1. Will the final release run faster? I did not install it because I thought it wouldn't really make any difference in performance.
Plz do not use Windows Vista anymore, you really don't know anything about OS & PCs . Have mercy on the soul of PC, thats the most funniest comment I have ever heard. Even a new user knows this that Final version is better then beta.
RC1 was tooo old, not fully compatible drivers & a lot of debug code. About 95% MB of debug code is removed by going to Vista RTM. I have to say there is still debug code in a few places in Vista, but they don't make much difference anyway. They come into account only when you have a memory error etc
I ran it on a system that has the nVidia 6600GT 256MB graphics card installed and has 512 MB of RAM. It has the Intel Pentium 4 2.66 GHz processor
This computer is super solid & good enough for Vista boy. Just get 1 GB RAM, it's not very costly & u can upgrade anytime to more RAM. Also get the proper drivers. Since you do not game, u don't have to worry about frequesnt driver updates to. you can also make a slipstreamed Vista DVD using WAIK
@Tarey
