Win2000 pro booting problem, File missing????

Dear friends,
I am not able to boot from win 2000 pro with service pack 4.
i am getting the follwing error
\winnt\system32\config\system is missing or corrupt

If u do have the file kindly mail me at cooldude_i2k@yahoo.com
The file is around 3.23Mb approx.
Plz help.

hmm... This Probably means your Registry is corrupt

Go to "X:\WINNT\repair\" and copy the file called "system" to "X:\winnt\system32\config\"
