Why Screen flickers ?

Monitor : Benq E2200HD (1920*1080, 60mhz)
Cable : HDMI on Sapphire 7850 OC


Problem : When I switch on or off any electrical equipment like fan, tube light etc...Screen flicker


- Graphic driver is upto date

Place your monitor at different place and check! It can pickup electrical signals when kept near your wall which might have inner home wirings.

You mean screen flickers for a moment n then stops?
And do you use UPS?

Problem is when I use HDMI, no problem with DVI


I think, HDMI port on Benq E2200HD is 1.2 but I have cable of ver 1.3 ....Is this the reason ?
