Why not Ace Plus??

I have been through almost all the front page topics of the buying thread. One thing I have seen is people keep critising ace plus. But I found it one of the best phones available at cheap price( I am getting it for 14,400 with Bluetooth Headset and 16gb card).
I think its a complete package with 3.65inch screen, 1gh processor and 4gb internal memory. I cant see any other phone in this range with such specs.
Can you tell me why shouldnt i go for ace plus?

No place its written screen size is directly proportional to how good a phone is. if you feel a internal memory is less then just.format memory card to EXT3. it should be. recognised as built in memory :wink:

if you are finding Ace Plus for 13k, then its a good enough deal but at 14.5-15k price i don't see why anyone should consider it. The resolution is extremely low for a 3.65" screen, processor is not upto the mark so can't shoot 720p video, same old boring looks. And lastly it won't get Android 4.0 update ever. Instead Motorola Defy+ though discontinued in favor of Defy XT is still a better choice.

Also Live With Walkman cost below 13k now so why should one waste money on an overpriced mobile. Only thing that Ace Plus can brag is the extra memory.

Its got a not very sharp display(~160ppi), might not get ICS officially.

If the above things dont matter to you much, and you like it more than LWW or other phones in its range then just go for it, don't look at the specs much.

If ur not tight on budget, can have a look at One V etc. Or even better go for upcoming Xperia miro which I think will be in tht range. Then there is also the Lumia 710 tht is in same price range and very much better, though its on Windows.

You see? so many better options, so no point talking in favor of ace plus. But in the end its a personal choice, u feel its got all u want, go for it.

I still feel like going with ace+ because of the 3.65 screen and 4gb internal memory. I wont have to worry about low memory or any other issue.
I will just buy this locally @14.4k tomorrow.

Dude you pay 15k for the ace plus for the features avialable for 10k in motorola xt , htc explorer etc, it is not value for money , for value for money in 15k look out for xperia u ,
I know it has 6 gb internal user acessible memory but usb otg makes up for it..

I think rather going for that you should buy Desire S, Neo V or One V for 16k

If you have already made up your mind then no body can help you.
Only we can suggest you what is best for you.
Rest it is upto you.
As you already had one thing in your mind and our suggestions didn't even bother you then I think there was no need of even creating this thread.

Don't even compare Ace+ to LWW. Ace plus is a freaky phone. See the display yourself. And CPU. And further, SE LWW interface is beautiful n u will get addicted to it.

And does Ace support TrackID?? I donno. But its one of the coolest feature I found in LWW.

The screen will totally disappoint you , 3.65 with such low resolution is like duping the uninformed .....

Sony LWW is a much nicer phone ... alternatively ,Defy+ if you need the screen size but it is a little dull.

Other than Ace which has a standard 320X480 resolution on a 3.5" screen (& Y having QVGA on 3") all other mobiles fall way short of what i can say usable. I once compared a friends Galaxy Fit to my Optimus One (same budget league) and showed it to a few of my classmates. The one who have Fit himself said my mobiles display was lot sharper even when the screen guard i am using is really old and darkening up. Touchwiz looked absolute crap on his mobile cause of the oversized icons cause of stretched resolution. And the scenario will be same with Ace Plus when you compare it to competitors like Defy+ or Live with Walkman.

This has caused LG to release Optimus L3 will same resolution to keep the cost down. in the end a big failure compared to Explorer.
