Which dvd drive to buy?

Hi guys i need a new dvd Rw (both for cd/dvd) can anyone guide me which is the best to buy considering more lifespan and plz quote the price too thank you

Sony 22x @ 1.05k
HP 22x/24x @ 1.2k(dunno whether its 22 or 24)

How about its service centre is it good(living in hyderabad) what about liteon or moaserbear ,mine sony dvd rw failed after 2years

dunno about the brands u mentioned
but u can get LG and be tension free coz there after sale service is good
else u can buy a bit pricey HP writer which wont give u problems for 3-4 years

Also u can get a Samsung 22x for 0.9k.
It also has good service.

thanxs guys bought lg worth 930rs but they are saying i should write cd once in a while or else the dvd lens efficiency will be reduced is this true?

you really want to believe that?
we buy optical drives for accessing and burn optical media. If the lens' efficiency is reduced by its only operation, what's the point of its existence???
