where is service center for Segate lost

Hi guys,

I have a maxtor portable drive (80GB) its still under warranty.. i had purchased it from Laminton road...now the guys at the shop are saying go to a service center n sort ur self out...i am residing in goa.... any one had ideas where i will be able to trace the service center here...

find your branch .which town in goa are you? no need to call RMA center.you carry the defective hdd to them ,when replacement is available(usually less than 4-5 days) ,they will text message to your mobile :)

It took 4 days in case of one of my 2.5" 80 GB :) but service is gr8 with SMS info / registration / sealed pack return and all that :D

Can anyone tell me where is the Service Center in the state of Maharashtra:confused:
I got a friends hard disk of 160 GB and I was unable to repair it

wat abt the data which is there on the drive...soemtimes its sensitive data n wat if the data is used in a wrong way
