Guys, know any place where i can get dual layer blank dvds in mumbai? i just got a new dual layer dvd but no dual layer bland dvds to test it :shock:

Well a verbatim dual layer costed rs. 550 when i asked here at a local shop. I guess it will be costly.

but seriously are they really needed now

besides the cost of them are not justified rite now

having support for DL doesnt mean u shld check them so desparately

its for future use, if u can accept this, when they get cheaper and when u want more data to be burnt on media

Where i live i can get a Dual Layer DVD-9,or a Double Layer DVD-10 disk for Rs.75.But it is unbranded and it is sold in loose.For a dual layered Re-Writeable you have to shellout 900 bucks.

where do u live dude ? and what is the difference between a Dual Layer DVD-9 and a Double Layer DVD-10 disk ?? Is there any difference between Dual Layer and Double Layer ??

dvd 9 means

single side double layer

dvd 10 means,
double side, single layer each
