When i switch off the monitor the pc stops working!!!!!!

i recently got a brodband connecton so i installed limewire and started dwnloding stuff. now mine is just 64 kbps connecton so it takes long time to dwnlod things.so i start the download and switch off the monitor(bijlee bachao).but when i switch it on and open limewre it says waking up connection or something like that .i checked the power managment settings my hdd/monitor/standby options are set to never then why does limewire say so.i have a cable internet connection and it is based on lan card. do i need to do something in the lan card settings???

Looks like your PC goes on standby or something and thats the reason why your connection gets shut. See in power settings perhaps...

Check your Power Settings. You can keep it like - Switch off monitor if the System is
idle for 15 minutes. This should work. My monitor automatically switches off - keep
it at whatever settings!! It's the SamSung's power-saver monitor.
