Had Lenovo R61 for >8 years which is still running good. Probably the best keyboard for such an old laptop.
Have Dell N5110. Don't like the build quality or the fact that there were better laptops in the same price range. We bought it when I was noob.
Also have Acer E5-511. Got it as a freebie from state govt. Good enough build quality for entry level laptop. Also, better keyboard than the Dell N5110. Infact got its troublesome charger replaced within couple of hours before.

Out of these three, Lenovo FTW

However, I'd prefer buying a Clevo/Sager for 60k or above budget and Asus/Lenovo for mid range laptops with 950M or under.

From my point of view, it depends on which type of usage you make for the laptop. For gaming? For office job? For video editing?

In my opinion, HP and lenovo used to be good brands once but haven't been able to keep up with the growing needs of the consumers. I personally think MSI is doing quite well on that front with 5th gen processors, high end graphics and some other really good features.
