the mobo has 8 pin connector ( CPu power ) and the PSU also has the same - the umax has 4 pin connector and plugs into the mobos 8 pin cpu power connector leaving 4 pins blank - so either the mobos 8 pin connector's 4 pin has some issue or the HX650's 8 pin connector ( CPU ) has some issue.
the only way to be sure sure is to test the mobo with some PSU which has 8 in cpu power connector.
