Its April. Summers have already started from many days.
I used to drink Aam Panna these days to quench my afternoon thirst!

But today I tried something which made me feel "Super-Cool"!
"Lassi"!! yeah folks... I enjoyed a fresh cool glass of Lassi, and savoured it to the last drop! Can anything me more tasteful than a fresh glass of Lassi! :))

Yeah... I remembered drinking from kulhad last year. But just once.
Its time to do that this weekend :-D
So I rephrase the statement,
"Can anything me more tasteful than a fresh glass of Kulhad Lassi!?"

@Faun: Mango flavoured lassi? Never tasted that
Have you just made this up?

Home-made lassi is also excellent. I don't like Mother Dairy lassi though.

In that aspect I am a little different then. Since I always used to buy Mother Dairy's Meethi lassi pouch on my way to home from college. And used to cherish that with a dear friend of mine ;)

In fact, I love curd and its products so much, that I can die for it :))

Uhu, Not Gonna Happen!
Mango flavored, vanilla flavored, fruit mix, banana lassi, chocolate flavored!
You mame it and they have it.
I know nothing beats the original taste of a lassi, but you gotta try new flavors time to time, they are good once a while. If any of you ever get chance to go to Indore, please definitely try "Ghamandi Lassi" (name of the shop). Its awesome, out of this world.

BTW I just had buttered Gobhi parantha and chocolate milk shake! yummm

@vineet369: rightly said about curd and its products, I second that :)

yeah amul sells lassi in tetra pack. I have found only rose flavor.it is ok. atleast it does not have pieces and bits of malai (cream) which my body bloody hates.

@BTW had rava idli from one of our cafeteria caterer. tastes great :)

there is a lot of misconception among north Indians about food that is eaten in south India (I got that cleared after I spent considerable time in B'lore :))

1.First of all, south Indians do not eat only rice. There are huge varieties of vegetables, curries and curd which is taken along with it.
2.Its not just idli-vada/dosa for breakfast. There are 10s of varieties of idlis and dosas that we are not aware of. You can go on and have a different kind of dosa each day of a month.
3.Coconut oil is not used extensively for cooking. It is used in specific recipes and that too mainly in Keral.
4.South Indians have sweet tooth too. After eating mysore pak from Kanti Sweets here in B'lore, I consider it the best sweet I have ever eaten.

PS: though born and brought up in M.P, I am a U.P native.
