@ Ricky : UR problem shud have been solved, but its been a long time since i installed win98 on VMWARE. It seems mah floppyrom or floppies are dying to try it out mahself again. Neways it wud be better if u get urself with a win98 boot cd and then try! See this, a very useful link from mah collection,

no use testing on Vista on Virtual machine. However if u do want to use, u can use either virtualPC or VMWare, VMware doesn't support vista installation right now in version 5.5 but it does supports it properly in Version 6 beta

so should I get a new Hdd & install vista on it, I dont want to do it on my D drive as deleting it later would affect my MBR (read in another thread)

I think vmware 6 Beta will work.... It is great... you gotta try it out....

friend belive me....I am vmware user too.Download vmare workstation 6 and run it on windows vista..The performance is outstanding.I have tried in both Xp and Vista. For that u should have minimum 1 Gb ram and Allocate 256 ram to vmare guest operating system. Will work simply superb notonly that u can establish a p2p connection between these operating system..
