Hi everyone

when i checked my pen drive attrib in the command prompt i have two files which i dont know about my friend told me that they are virus, i have a transcend 4 GB pen drive, the files are "jrbk.cmd and autorun.inf"
please help know if they are are virus. if yes, how do i clean them.

ya man its a virus...
such a kind of, that as u plug in the pen drive it spreads.....
try to update ur antivirus....
if not detected...
then it might be some malicious program...
delete the files manually if possible.....

Yes ur pen drive infected, even if u format that files will be back after plug in..
because ur systems registry has that infection

To avoid it open autorun.inf thru notepad
delete all contents save & set attrib to read only hidden & system
Or wait & do antivirus updates that will fixed automatically

scan it with any anti-virus that can detect it. Then use ACDsee to find the virus and delete it. U can delete it until you disinfect it

At times even the best antivirus engines dont detect a definite virus..

And the files u named are 100% virus infection.

Simply format ur pen-drive. It would be the best solution.

If you are not willing to format you thumb-drive, just use the following program to remove the .inf and .cmd files:

Eraser 5.3
