Virus afects read only file

If we give read-only attribute to a file, will a virus infect that fie??

And when a file is infected and norton antivirus repairs it, some exe files show that their size has changed, or it has been corrupted.

What should we do at this effects??

yes it will... Most program viruses will remove this protection before they infect files, and restore it afterwards....

now for the second question... may be that file u r trying heal.. is olny made for infection... dont realy contain any use full program...

or may b its a fault of NAV... upgrade to NAV06 or change tha AVS to see whether other version can heal it properly or not...
