Right off the assembly line
1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans:Word-processing, Excel, Document creation, Heavy Browsing -possibly 25 diff pages open at a time, Streaming videos and music, plenty of 1080p movie watching sessions (absolutely no compromise here), 24/7 torrenting, some Photoshop editing, rarely music editing. Zero Gaming  quite happy with my ps3

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans:25k can stretch to max 27k. Also suggest best sites for clubbing together purchases for CC EMI :|

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:No. This build better last till the next decade

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:Windows 8 and Backtrack

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:Min 500gb

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:I already have a Dell U2312HM 23" display from my last setup (intel atom netbook, 1gb ram running windows 8 pro :-x)

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: Already have a Display, also have a microsoft wireless keyboard+mouse, external dvd writer, 2.1 speakers, 1tb External hdd

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans:Definitely in June 2013

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: Myself

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans:pune, Preferably online shopping, so that i can club the purchases together to try and get EMI option, but the case/ups will be picked up locally to avoid heavy shipping charges.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: After plenty of forum and article reading, I have sortof worked up the below list, however need your help/suggestions/modifications/ to bring it as low budget as possible.

An Intel rig will be better IMO;

i3 3220 (7000)
Gigabyte B75M DH3 (4000)
Corsair Value Select 1600 MHz 4 GB (1900)
Corsair CX430V (2600) local price.
WD Blue 1 TB (3800)
Any zebronics cabinet without PSU (800)
APC 600VA UPS (2200)

total: 22300

low power consumption.
low heat generation.
good IGP.

+1 for this rig do some modification as follows
corsair value select (2X2gb) dual channel @2.5k
get good cabinet like cooler master elite 310 or 311 @ 1.8k & 2k respectively.
NZXT gamma or antec x1 is good option too.

^^ Buddy, nobody goes for 2X2 GB rams in these days and 4GB single module is the urrent standard config.
