Using "C" Language in Win8

I want to run C programs in windows 8 but I'm unable to find a suitable compiler. Can someone please suggest a good compiler ?

I have downloaded Visual Studio Express for Desktop on my laptop but it gives the following error when I run it...

I'm unable to find the Project properties

If you want to create C and C++ programs, just use this: Code::Blocks

Download | Microsoft Visual Studio 2012

Take the one you like, go for express, its in the bottom, blue colored links.

If you want to create C and C++ programs, just use this: Code::Blocks

If you prefer / interested in compiling from cmd. Check out tinyc compiler.

 

[gameranand]

Code Blocks works best for C/C++.
