To access the front panel usb 3.0, your mobo should have usb 3.0 header and your cabinet should have the usb 3.0 port. Both conditions are important. A cable inside the cabinet is connected to the usb 3.0 header on your mobo. I don't think that your mobo has a usb 3.0 header. So no converter or any other thing can get you the usb 3.0 port on front panel.

@ OP - if you want USB 3.0 ports on your pc you have to get a USb 3.0 pci/pci-e addon card.

^^ yes, but what other option he has if he really needs usb 3.0 ports with his existing config ?
