i recommend the following(you are better off with amd based rig) -

Athlon II X4 630 2.8GHz @ 5.2k
Biostar TA785G3 HD @ 4.3k
Transcend 2GB DDR3 1333MHz C9 @ 2.2k(add 2 gb ram later)
Sapphire HD5750 1GB GDDR5 @ 8.2k
Cooler Master Elite 310 @ 1.5k
Corsair VX450W @ 3.7k

total - Rs. 25100

you can't do that, as either the chipset would be incompatible of socket as i7 needs 1356 socket.

the h55 chipset board that you have selected is not powerful enough for games
if you want to enjoy games you should invest in a good gpu
moreover athlon 2 x4 630 is gives you more advantages over the costly core i3

did you mentioned photoshoppin? provided you not mean shopping for photos :)), you should go for i5 based config. or maybe AMD based. however if you not professional, you may go with what Jaskanwar has provided. pretty much balanced rig.

& about upgrading, never trust intel so openheartedly. next year Sandy Bridges coming along with a new 6 series chipset. chances are with H55 or even P55 your upgrade road wil have a err ,,,,,,,,, well sad ending.

Is the i3-Dh55tc combo that bad....
I mean wont it even be able to play games like fifa 10 ,football manager, nfs on medium settings....

Also is the athlon 2 x4 630 reliable... I mean a friend of mine had bought an Amd proc a couple of yrs ago and it gave him problems in just a year

really?
which cpu model?

There is nothing like AMD processors are bad and Intels are good. The comparison should be done in product level. And normally in lower and middle segment AMD processors are best.

Athlon II 620 is a better performer than Core I3 based system, because i3 is a dual core processor where as Athlon II 620 is a Quad core processor. The extra 2 cores are always going to help.
And Core i3 is having an On-die integreted Graphics processing unit, but if you are going to add an discreate Graphics card, this is no help. And even AMD motherboards (mainly 785G chipset) based all the boards are having Radeon 4200 IGP with 128 MB dedicated DDR3 Gfx memory, a better performer than Intel latest integrated IGP.

So @ 25k budget opt for AMD based rig, as suggested in this thread

most probably the original Phenom 65nm craps.they were flops. or maybe his friend brought cheapest possible proccy, like Athlon X2 BE.

the i3 got inbuilt graphics but it sucks. forget latest games, you can play only last years games at 1024X768. that also at low-medium resolution.

AMD inbuilt graphics are: HD3300, HD 4200, HD4290. these 3 can beat the hell out of any Intel graphics till date. even the one i5.

& he may have brought an old proccy. or maybe his problem related to some other parts rather than the proccy.

Corsair CX400W (easy availability) or Seasonic S12-II 380W (my preference: super silent) else Tagan Stone Rock 500W (last option).
will these options suffice if i add a gpu like hd 5750/gts 260......also which one is better among corsair and seasonic one

with core i3 you just getting is a basic gaming pc with no way u can upgrade in future. H55 is a nonsense chipset & Intel original are odd mobos. for same price u getting a much much better AMD system which can be upgraded in future.

so your choice, you know. ok get 4Gb DDR3 instead of 2. drop that VX450 for CX400W or something equivalent to it.

that Dell is not good at all. it got the GT310 512mb. basically a 9400GT. renamed uncountable times. you better of getting HD5770 if getting CX400W or HD5670 512Mb if getting a little bit cheaper PSU.
