[Update] Firefox 1.0.6 Final

Firefox 1.06 Final released

Cant understand what they are upto, they are releasing New versions of Firefox every other day. Yesterday it was the 1.0.6 RC version and today is the final version.

Here's what's new in Firefox 1.0.6:

*Improvements to API stability for extensions and web applications.

Now i dont think that Mozilla wod take more time to come up with a Firefox 7.04 or something.

Just read now that the version number of the next major update in the series is gonna be 1.5 and not 1.1. The 1.5 would be released in the September.

After all its all a number game and if they go on Releasing new version when new flaws are found, only the sky is the limit.

Just check that roadmap they actually have even started thinking and projecting about the 2.0 and the 3.0

i thought of a complete overhaul to firefox (the blazerunner)

Its explained in the home page itself. The Flash interface has some trouble with firefox.


I think tabbed brousing takes lots of mem. But still less than multiple pages in IE. The newest 1.0.6 is really fast.
