Unable to decide which LAN Card/NIC card to buy

Hi people,

I have a pc operating on windows xp with following motherboard:

"Motherboard Name Intel Bay Field D865GBF"

Can anyone suggest which LAN card / NIC card (i think both refer to same thing ) should i buy so that i can connect my pc to another one (which already has one NIC installed)...

Go for a D-Link card. Actually you can buy any LAN card. They're all the same. Should cost you about 400-500 bucks.

Anyways, get *any* LAN card, that is cheap! I got a INTEX for rs. 175 only

Lan cards are all the same. D-Link will be the most expensive because of its brand name. There are 10-20 brands withn the range of 200rs/-. When they get spoilt they all are the same so why spend 200 more on a d-link??
