Ubuntu Query : Switch Connection

Hi Guyz
I've 2 LAN connections used for connection to Internet
1 is BSNL & Other 1 is local
BSNL uses dial up which I've configured using pppoeconf command
The other 1 is directly connected (No Dialup required)
I'm still unable to configure the other 1 so please help
Also do tell how I can switch between 2 without logging out
I've its DNS Address (Given by ISP) & Ip address, Subnetmask & gateway

Your question is unclear.

But if I understood correctly, then your 'direct connection' will be used until and unless you dont connect pppoe, and when you disconnect pppoe again your direct will be used. No need to log out buddy.
